We founded The Goodness Project in 2013 from the frustration of not being able to find healthy, natural, vegan gluten-free goods and gifts. We have dreamed up a way to save you time and energy, by selecting a variety of free from food, beauty and lifestyle products, lovingly packaging them into our signature boxes and sending it to your doorstep. Since our launch, we have delivered tens of thousands of baskets and received many raving reviews. We are grateful to all our customers for their loyalty and support.

Since setting up our business in 2013 our goal has always been to create a sustainable business that puts people, the planet and products at the forefront. We have made fantastic progress in the last 9 years, but we recognise that we can still do more to make the world better for the next generations to come. We are an independent family-run business and treat each of our team members with respect we take care of their physical and mental well-being. We provide our colleagues with proper training, a living wage, and safe working conditions. We value talent for their contribution, therefore everyone is encouraged to come up with new ideas, and solutions and is involved in decision-making. We have fortnightly catch-up sessions when team members are encouraged to raise their questions and concerns for improvement. We always recruit from the local community and support flexible lifestyles. We are offsetting the personal and professional carbon footprint of our team to create a climate-friendly workforce by planting trees with our partner Ecologi each month and contributing to eco-projects around the world. Every month we support a new charity by donating one of our hampers to help raise money for their special causes.
We’re also working towards our B Corp certification to give our amazing team the best working conditions and ensure we’re operating to the highest possible social and environmental standards.
We package every order to order, which means we create very little waste and don’t use excess energy or space to store stock. Recycling is an integral part of our everyday routines. We don’t have gas, which means we are carbon natural and use 100% renewable energy in our office and warehouse.
We work with couriers, who have the lowest carbon footprint in the UK. Royal Mail offers the lowest reported emissions per parcel of any major UK delivery company. We also use DPD for deliveries, who aims to be the UK’s most sustainable delivery company. In addition, we work with Pedivan – a net zero courier to deliver weekly office supplies to London offices.
We partner with Ecologi to plant 1 tree for every order to help protect our amazing environment around the world. Check out our forest by following the link here - you can donate additional trees to our forest to help our cause and watch our forest grow in real-time.
We work with likeminded UK-based suppliers and wholesalers to keep our carbon footprint down and prioritise suppliers and brands, whose have their product packaging is recyclable, compostable, or biodegradable.
